Ingredients of Chicken Biryani

  1. It's 2 cups of Basmati rice.
  2. It's 1 of whole chicken.
  3. You need 1 cup of Yogurt.
  4. Prepare 2 tablespoons of Biryani masala.
  5. It's of Green chili (optional).
  6. It's of Fried onions.
  7. You need of Lemon juice.
  8. It's leaf of Fresh mint chopped.
  9. Prepare of Fresh coriander chopped.
  10. You need 2 pieces of Star Anise.
  11. Prepare 4 pieces of Cardamom.
  12. You need 2 pieces of Bay leaf.
  13. You need 1 teaspoon of tumeric.
  14. It's to taste of Salt.
  15. It's of Bouillon.
  16. You need of Chilli powder.
  17. You need of Cloves.
  18. Prepare of Saffron.
  19. You need 3 tablespoons of milk.
  20. You need 3 of oils.

The first and foremost important thing to take care of while preparing chicken biryani is, always use a heavy-bottomed pan as you would not want the chicken getting cooked. The restaurant-style chicken biryani uses the whole chicken in preparation and the chicken breast can dry when cooking at home. For kacchi biryani, raw marinated meat is layered with raw rice before being cooked together. Chicken Biryani is an aromatic, mouth watering and authentic Indian dish with succulent chicken in layers of fluffy rice, fragrant spices and fried onions.

Chicken Biryani instructions

  1. Wash your chicken and marinate your chicken with a tablespoon salt, chilli powder (to ur taste) 2 tablespoons Biryani masala, a hand full fried onions, chopped fresh mint and coriander leaf and add 3 tablespoons oil and turmeric.
  2. Mix well and add the yogurt to chicken and lemon juice to marinate for at least two hours or overnight.

  4. Wash and Soak the rice for 15 minutes and drain, meanwhile pot water in a pot wen it comes to boil add salt(let the salt comes out pls) 2 boullion cubes, star anise, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves and 3 tablespoons oil and add the rice.
  5. Cook the rice till is about 90 percent cooked and then off the stop strained the rice and keep aside then rinse the pot.
  6. On the stove put the pot on the fire add two tablespoons oil, using a plate or something fetch the rice and spread in the pot (this is important pls make sure to spread the rice and not put in one place) the add a couple pieces of chicken the chicken fried onions, the mint and coriander leaf and then add the rice again by spreading it and repeat the step again.
  7. After the last step soak the saffron in the milk and spread on top of the rice and cover with a lead, for the first 10 mints on high heat and 5 mint low heat or till u are sure the rice is soft (the Egg is optional).
  8. But if u want boil the egg separate, After the 15 mints off the fire but dnt open and allow the rice to rest for like 5 mints if u are patient 😋 enough and then serve and sprinkle ur mint leaf and ur slice boiled egg (plss dnt turn the rice).
