- Now see if the chicken needs some water for the gravy.If so add 1/4 cup of water to it.Cook for another 2-3 mints.Then add the rice dumplings on top of the chicken curry.Cover and cook again.At this stage don't mix the gravy with spoon(the rice dumplings will break).Cover and cook in medium flame till the gravy thickens and the rice dumplings are also cooked.Now add thick coconut milk and sprinkle fennel powder.Mix very gently.Cover and let it sit for few seconds.Remove from fire..
- Now heat little oil in another pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Add in dry red chilli and curry leaves.Pour this into the gravy.Keep it covered for 5 mints.Serve hot..
